One-Pot Smoked Honey BBQ Steak Pasta

Posted on April 14, 2026 by Admin

One-Pot Smoked Honey BBQ Steak Pasta is a rich, smoky, sweet-and-savory pasta dish made in a single pan for easy cooking and cleanup.

šŸšŸ„© What it is

Tender steak strips cooked in a smoky honey BBQ sauce, mixed with creamy pasta—all made in one pot.

🧾 Ingredients

  • Steak (sliced thin)
  • Pasta (penne or fettuccine works best)
  • Honey
  • BBQ sauce (smoked or classic)
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Onion (sliced)
  • Olive oil or butter
  • Beef or chicken stock / water
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Optional: chili flakes, cheese, cream

šŸ³ How to make it

  1. Sear the steak
Heat oil in a pot and brown steak strips quickly. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook aromatics
In the same pot, sautƩ onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Build the sauce
Add BBQ sauce + honey + stock. Stir well.
  4. Cook pasta in sauce
Add uncooked pasta and simmer until tender, stirring occasionally.
  5. Return steak
Add steak back into the pot and mix everything together.
  6. Finish creamy (optional)
Add a splash of cream or cheese for extra richness.

šŸ”„ Tips

  • Slice steak thin so it stays tender
  • Don’t overcook pasta—keep it slightly firm
  • Add a little smoked paprika for deeper BBQ flavor
  • Stir often so pasta cooks evenly in sauce

If you want, I can also make a spicy version, creamy version, or restaurant-style BBQ pasta like Chili’s.
