Stuffed chicken breast

Posted on April 22, 2026 by Admin

Stuffed chicken breast is one of those dishes that looks fancy but is actually pretty approachable once you break it down. At its core, you’re taking a chicken breast, cutting a pocket into it, filling it with something flavorful, then cooking it until juicy and tender.

Here’s a reliable, tasty version you can try:

🧄 Garlic & Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (chopped)
  • 2–3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup grated mozzarella or cheddar
  • Salt & black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Prep the chicken
Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket—don’t cut all the way through.
  2. Make the filling
In a bowl, mix spinach, garlic, cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Stuff it
Spoon the filling into each chicken breast. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  4. Season
Rub the outside with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Cook
    • Pan + oven method (best):
Sear in a hot pan for 3–4 minutes per side, then bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes.
    • Oven only:
Bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes.
  6. Rest & serve
Let it rest for 5 minutes before cutting so the juices stay inside.

🔥 Variations you might like:

  • Add mushrooms and onions for a richer filling
  • Swap spinach for sun-dried tomatoes
  • Use feta instead of cream cheese for a tangier taste

If you want, I can give you a desi-style stuffed chicken version (with spices more common in Pakistan) or a quick air fryer method.
