seafood or sushi

It depends on what you’re in the mood for—sushi is actually a type of seafood-based cuisine, but the experience is quite different.

Seafood (general)

  • Usually cooked: grilled fish, prawns, fried calamari, spicy curries, etc.
  • Rich, bold flavors (especially in South Asian style cooking)
  • More filling and varied textures
  • Safer pick if you prefer fully cooked food

Sushi

  • Japanese style: raw or lightly cooked fish with rice, seaweed, etc.
  • Clean, light, delicate flavors
  • Focus on freshness and presentation
  • Best if you enjoy raw fish or milder taste profiles

Simple decision guide:

  • Want something hearty, spicy, cooked → go for seafood
  • Want something light, fresh, and refined → go for sushi

If you’re in Faisalabad, you’ll generally find seafood much more commonly than authentic sushi, unless you’re at a higher-end or fusion restaurant.

If you want, tell me your budget and mood (light meal vs filling), and I can suggest specific places or dishes.
