Roasted cauliflower

Roasted cauliflower is one of the easiest and tastiest ways to enjoy this veggie—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and full of flavor.

🥦 Roasted Cauliflower Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil (or any cooking oil)
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika or red chili powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (or fresh minced garlic)
  • Optional: turmeric, cumin, or garam masala for a desi twist

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Wash and dry the cauliflower well (dry = crispier).
  3. In a bowl, toss florets with oil and all spices.
  4. Spread them in a single layer on a baking tray.
  5. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and slightly crispy.

  • Desi Style: Add yogurt + turmeric + cumin + coriander powder before roasting
  • Spicy: Add chili flakes or hot sauce
  • Garlic Lemon: Add lemon juice and extra garlic after roasting
