🍝 Rigatoni with Ground Beef & Parmesan

Ingredients:

  • 250–300 g rigatoni pasta
  • 300 g ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta
    Boil rigatoni in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the beef
    Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion and cook until soft.
    Add garlic, then ground beef. Cook until browned.
  3. Make the sauce
    Add tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
    Simmer for 10–15 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine
    Add cooked rigatoni to the sauce. Toss well to coat.
  5. Finish with cheese
    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and mix lightly or serve on top.
