Ranch Pork Chops

Ranch Pork Chops are tender, flavorful pork chops coated in a savory, herby ranch-style seasoning—perfectly seasoned, juicy inside, and easy to make. Since pork isn’t commonly eaten in Pakistan, I’ll include a halal-friendly chicken version too.


🍖 Ranch Pork Chops (Oven or Pan)

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 2–4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 2 tbsp oil or butter

Ranch seasoning mix:

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill (optional but classic)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper

(You can also use a store-bought ranch seasoning mix.)


🔪 Method:

Option 1: Pan-Seared

  1. Pat chops dry.
  2. Rub with oil and coat evenly with ranch seasoning.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat, add chops, and cook 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Optional: Add a small knob of butter at the end and spoon over chops for extra flavor.

Option 2: Oven-Baked

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Place seasoned chops in a greased baking dish.
  3. Bake for 20–25 minutes, depending on thickness, until fully cooked.

Creamy Ranch Variation:

  • Mix 2–3 tbsp yogurt or cream with ranch seasoning.
  • Spread over chops before baking for a creamy, flavorful coating.

🍗 Halal Alternative (Chicken Ranch Chops)

  • Use boneless chicken breast or thighs.
  • Pound slightly for even thickness.
  • Season and cook the same way as pork chops.
  • Slightly less cooking time than pork, but equally juicy and flavorful.

🍽️ Serving Suggestions:

  • Mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes
  • Steamed or roasted vegetables
  • Rice or garlic bread

🔥 Tips:

  • Bone-in chops stay juicier and more flavorful.
  • Let meat rest 5 minutes before serving.
  • Medium heat ensures even cooking without drying out.
