Creamy Shrimp Pasta is a rich and comforting dish where tender shrimp are tossed with pasta in a smooth garlic cream sauce. It’s quick to cook and tastes like a restaurant meal.
Ingredients (Serves 3–4)
- 250 g pasta (fettuccine, spaghetti, or penne)
- 250 g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup chicken or seafood broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta
- Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions.
- Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Cook the shrimp
- Heat olive oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
- Remove shrimp and set aside.
3. Make the creamy sauce
- In the same pan sauté garlic 30 seconds.
- Add broth and cream, then simmer 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
4. Combine
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp back into the sauce.
- Toss well, adding a little pasta water if needed for a silky texture.
- Finish with lemon juice and parsley.
Serving 🍽️
