Here’s a simple, classic Cinnamon Roll recipe—soft, sweet, and perfect for breakfast or a treat 🍥✨

🍥 Classic Cinnamon Roll

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (7 g) instant yeast
  • ½ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg

For the filling:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup softened butter

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Make the dough
    • Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes until frothy.
    • Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour. Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth.
    • Cover and let rise 1–2 hours until doubled.
  2. Prepare the filling
    • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
    • Roll out dough into a rectangle (~12×16 in). Spread butter over the surface and sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly.
  3. Roll and cut
    • Roll tightly from the long edge. Cut into 12 slices and place in a greased baking dish.
  4. Second rise
    • Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes until puffy.
  5. Bake
    • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Glaze
    • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls.

✨ Tips:

  • Brush tops with extra melted butter for extra gooey rolls.
  • Add raisins or nuts to the filling for variety.
  • For a quick version, you can use store-bought dough—just spread cinnamon sugar and bake.

I can also give you a 30-minute no-yeast cinnamon roll recipe that’s soft, sweet, and ready fast if you want 😄
