Cheese bombs

Cheese bombs are gooey, cheesy, bite-sized bread balls—crispy on the outside and melty on the inside. They’re perfect as snacks, party appetizers, or a fun side dish.


🧀 Cheese Bombs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • 2 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 egg (for brushing)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Make the dough:
    Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add warm milk and butter. Knead for 5–7 minutes until soft. Let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  2. Preheat oven:
    Set to 180°C (350°F).
  3. Shape cheese bombs:
    Take small portions of dough, flatten slightly, place a pinch of shredded cheese in the center, and seal into a ball.
  4. Prepare for baking:
    Place balls on a greased baking tray. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish. Sprinkle garlic powder if desired.
  5. Bake:
    Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve:
    Serve warm to enjoy melty cheese inside.

🧄 Variations:

  • Stuff with mozzarella + herbs
  • Add mini pepperoni or cooked chicken
  • Make spicy with chili flakes

💡 Tips:

  • Don’t overfill with cheese or it may leak during baking
  • Serve immediately for gooey texture
  • Can also bake in mini muffin trays for uniform size
