🍗 StoveTop / Crockpot Chicken
An easy, comforting chicken dish that works either on the stove or in a slow cooker — tender, flavorful, and perfect over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles.
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
- 4–6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup chicken broth or water
- 4 oz cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- Black pepper, to taste
🥘 Crockpot Version
1️⃣ Layer Ingredients
- Place chicken in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, broth, and onion soup mix.
- Pour mixture over chicken.
- Add cubed cream cheese on top (if using).
2️⃣ Cook
- Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender.
3️⃣ Shred & Serve
- Shred chicken with two forks and stir into sauce.
- Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or with crusty bread.

- Mix soup, broth, and onion soup mix.
