Here’s a simple, crispy, and flavorful recipe for sauteed potatoes—golden on the outside and soft inside.


🥔 Sautéed Potatoes (Crispy Pan Style)

🧾 Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 3–4 medium (cubed or sliced)
  • onion – 1 small, sliced (optional)
  • Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
  • Oil or butter – 2–3 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black pepper – ½–1 tsp
  • Paprika or chili flakes – optional
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, coriander) – optional

👨‍🍳 How to Make It

1. Prep potatoes

  • Wash and cut into even pieces
  • Optional: parboil for 5–7 minutes (helps faster cooking)

2. Heat pan

  • Add oil or butter to a wide pan
  • Heat on medium

3. Cook potatoes

  • Add potatoes in a single layer
  • Cook without stirring too much for 4–5 minutes (to get a crust)
  • Flip occasionally until golden on all sides

4. Add flavor

  • Add onions and garlic
  • Season with salt, pepper, paprika
  • Cook another 5–7 minutes until everything is tender

5. Finish

  • Sprinkle fresh herbs
  • Serve hot
