  • asparagus – 1 bunch, trimmed
  • Cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or parmesan) – 1 cup
  • Garlic – 2–3 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil or butter – 1–2 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp
  • Chili flakes – optional
