Here’s a classic, fluffy American pancake recipe—soft, thick, and perfect for breakfast.


🥞 American Pancakes (Fluffy & Easy)

🧾 Ingredients

  • Flour – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder – 2 tsp
  • Salt – a pinch
  • egg – 1 large
  • Milk – ¾ to 1 cup
  • Butter – 2 tbsp (melted)
  • Vanilla extract – ½ tsp (optional)

👨‍🍳 Steps

1. Mix dry ingredients

  • In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt

2. Mix wet ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, melted butter, vanilla

3. Combine

  • Pour wet into dry
  • Mix gently (small lumps are okay—don’t overmix)

4. Cook pancakes

  • Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat
  • Lightly grease with butter
  • Pour small ladles of batter
  • Cook until bubbles form on top (about 2 minutes)
  • Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes

  • Maple syrup or honey
  • Fresh fruit (banana, berries)
  • Butter on top
  • Chocolate chips or Nutella
