5 minute chocolate fudge

Posted on January 17, 2026 by Admin

Here’s an easy 5-Minute Chocolate Fudge recipe—no baking, no candy thermometer, and almost impossible to mess up 🍫

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz / 400 g) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: pinch of salt, chopped nuts, or marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Melt
    • In a saucepan over low heat, combine condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter.
    • Stir constantly until melted and smooth (about 3–5 minutes).
  2. Flavor
    • Remove from heat.
    • Stir in vanilla extract and optional salt or mix-ins.
  3. Set
    • Pour into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan.
    • Smooth the top.
  4. Chill
    • Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.
  5. Serve
    • Cut into squares and enjoy!

Tips

  • Use good-quality chocolate for best flavor.
  • Don’t overheat—low and slow keeps it silky.
  • Store in the fridge up to 2 weeks or freeze up to 2 months.

Quick Variations

  • Peanut butter fudge: swirl in 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • Rocky road: add mini marshmallows + nuts
  • Mint chocolate: add 1/2 tsp peppermint extract

If you want, I can also give you a microwave 3-minute version or a no-condensed-milk fudge recipe.
