Here’s a simple, flavorful, and versatile salmon recipe you can make at home:

Pan-Seared Garlic Butter Salmon

Serves: 2–3

Ingredients

  • 2–3 salmon fillets (6–8 oz each), skin on or off
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley or dill for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon
    • Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
    • Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika if using.
  2. Heat the pan
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the salmon
    • Place salmon fillets skin-side down (if skin is on).
    • Cook 4–5 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden.
    • Flip fillets carefully and cook another 3–4 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Add garlic butter
    • Reduce heat to medium, add butter and garlic to the pan.
    • Spoon melted butter over the salmon for 1–2 minutes to enhance flavor.
  5. Serve
    • Serve immediately with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley or dill.

💡 Tips:

  • Salmon cooks quickly; avoid overcooking to keep it moist and tender.
  • You can also bake salmon at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes for a hands-off method.
  • Pair with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

If you want, I can also give a honey garlic baked salmon recipe that’s sweet, savory, and perfectly glazed.

Do you want me to provide that version?
