Roasted cauliflower

Posted on February 22, 2026 by Admin

Simple, crispy, and packed with flavor — roasted cauliflower is one of the easiest (and tastiest) side dishes you can make. 🥦✨

Here’s a perfectly seasoned version with golden edges and tender centers.

Roasted Cauliflower

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Optional: ¼ tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut cauliflower into evenly sized florets.

2️⃣ Season

  • Toss florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  • Make sure they’re evenly coated.

3️⃣ Roast

  • Spread in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
  • Roast 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Cook until deeply golden and caramelized on edges.

Finish & Serve

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  • Add a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
  • Top with grated Parmesan for extra flavor.

Flavor Variations

🔥 Garlic Parmesan – Toss with Parmesan during last 5 minutes.
🌶 Buffalo Style – Toss in buffalo sauce after roasting.
🌿 Mediterranean – Add cumin, coriander, and serve with tahini.
🧄 Lemon Herb – Finish with lemon zest + fresh thyme.

Pro Tip

High heat is key — that’s what gives you those crispy browned edges instead of steamed cauliflower.

If you want, I can give you a crispy air fryer version or a loaded roasted cauliflower bake with cheese and bacon next.
