🍫 No-Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
Ingredients
- 2½ cups quick oats (or old-fashioned, lightly crushed)
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- Optional add-ins: peanut butter, chocolate chips, shredded coconut
Instructions
- Cook the base
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Stir in brown sugar, milk, cocoa powder, and salt.
Bring to a gentle boil and cook 1½–2 minutes, stirring constantly. - Finish the mix
Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. - Add oats
Fold in oats (and any add-ins) until fully coated. - Press & set
Press mixture firmly into a parchment-lined pan. - Chill
Refrigerate 30–45 minutes until firm. - Slice & serve
Cut into bars or squares.
