Garbage bread

Posted on April 25, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a fun, stuffed, everything-in-one loaf: garbage bread—basically a rolled bread packed with meats, cheese, and leftovers, then baked until golden.

🥖🍕 Garbage Bread (Loaded Stuffed Bread)

🧾 Ingredients

  • Pizza dough or bread dough – 1 large sheet
  • ground beef or sausage – 250–300 g
  • onion – 1 small, chopped
  • Cheese (mozzarella/cheddar mix) – 1–1½ cups
  • Pepperoni or cooked chicken – optional
  • Bell peppers, mushrooms, or any veggies – optional
  • Pizza sauce or ketchup – 3–4 tbsp
  • Egg – 1 (for brushing)
  • Salt, pepper, chili flakes – to taste

👨‍🍳 How to Make It

1. Cook filling

  • Cook ground beef or sausage with onions
  • Add salt, pepper, chili flakes
  • Cook until browned and dry

2. Roll dough

  • Roll dough into a rectangle on floured surface

3. Add filling

Layer:

  • Sauce
  • Cooked meat
  • Veggies (optional)
  • Lots of cheese

4. Roll it up

  • Roll tightly like a log
  • Seal edges well so filling doesn’t leak

5. Bake

  • Place seam-side down
  • Brush with beaten egg
  • Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 25–30 minutes
  • Until golden brown

6. Slice & serve

  • Let it cool 5–10 minutes
  • Slice into pieces

🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • With pizza sauce or garlic dip
  • As party food or snack
  • Great for using leftovers

🔥 Tips

  • Don’t overfill or it may burst
  • Cook meat filling first—never use raw
  • Add herbs or garlic butter on top for extra flavor

If you want, I can also make:

  • 🌶️ Spicy desi garbage bread (with tikka filling)
  • 🍗 Chicken alfredo version
  • 🧀 Extra cheesy stuffed version
