Posted on February 2, 2026 by Admin

Ohhh yeah 😏🥖🧀 Cheesesteak on Garlic Parmesan Bread—basically a flavor explosion in every bite. Crispy, garlicky bread meets melty cheese and savory beef. Let’s build it.

🥩🧄🧀 Cheesesteak on Garlic Parmesan Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread (or baguette)
  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye is classic, sirloin works too)
  • 1 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 3–4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional: mushrooms, hot peppers, or banana peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C.
  2. Make garlic Parmesan butter
Mix softened butter, minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
  3. Prep the bread
Slice loaf in half lengthwise. Spread garlic Parmesan butter evenly on cut sides. Place on baking sheet. Optional: toast 5–7 minutes until slightly golden.
  4. Cook filling
    • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sauté onions and peppers until soft.
    • Add beef, season with salt & pepper, and cook until just browned.
    • Optional: add mushrooms or hot peppers.
  5. Assemble
    • Pile beef and veggie mixture onto the bread halves.
    • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake
Bake 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Optional: broil 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
  7. Serve
Slice into thick pieces, serve hot.

🔥 Tips & Tricks

  • Cheese melt level: Cover loosely with foil to get melty without burning the bread.
  • Extra ooey-gooey: Mix mozzarella + provolone + a tiny bit of cream cheese.
  • Make-ahead: Assemble and refrigerate, then bake when ready.
  • Add crunch: Lightly toast the bread before adding the filling.

If you want, I can make a version that’s:

  • Pull-apart cheesy bread style
  • Spicy Philly twist
  • Air fryer friendly

Do you want this more classic Philly or super cheesy pull-apart style?
