Here’s a rich and flavorful Cajun Shrimp & Steak Alfredo Pasta recipe—creamy, spicy, and indulgent 🍤🥩🍝

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

For the Protein:

  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your choice), sliced into strips
  • 1–2 tsp Cajun seasoning (or more to taste)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Pasta:

  • 8 oz fettuccine, linguine, or spaghetti
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta
    • Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions.
    • Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Steak & Shrimp
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Season steak strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
    • Sear steak 2–3 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
    • In the same skillet, season shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
    • Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with steak.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce
    • Reduce heat to medium, melt butter in the skillet.
    • Add garlic, cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
    • Add Parmesan, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
  4. Combine
    • Add pasta to the skillet, toss to coat in the Alfredo sauce.
    • Return steak and shrimp to the pan, gently toss everything together.
  5. Serve
    • Plate pasta and protein.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions.
    • Optional: extra Parmesan and a squeeze of lemon for brightness.

Tips & Variations

  • Spice level: Increase Cajun seasoning or add crushed red pepper for more heat.
  • Veggies: Add bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach to the sauce.
  • Quick version: Use pre-cooked shrimp and steak for a 15-minute meal.
  • Creamier sauce: Stir in 2 oz cream cheese for extra richness.

If you want, I can also give a one-pan version where you cook pasta right in the sauce with steak and shrimp—minimal cleanup and super quick.

Do you want me to provide that version?
