Caesar salad

Posted on March 30, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a classic, restaurant-style Caesar salad—crisp, creamy, and full of bold flavor:

🥗 Caesar Salad (Classic)

🧾 Ingredients (serves 2–4)

For the salad:

  • 1 large head romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • ½ cup croutons
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the dressing:

  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Make the dressing
    • In a bowl, whisk garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
    • Add mayonnaise and olive oil, whisk until smooth and creamy.
    • Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Prepare the salad
    • Place chopped romaine lettuce in a large bowl.
  3. Toss
    • Add dressing and toss gently to coat all leaves evenly.
  4. Add toppings
    • Sprinkle croutons and Parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Serve immediately
    • Best served fresh and crisp.

🍽️ Optional Add-ins

  • Grilled chicken (for a full meal)
  • Shrimp or salmon
  • Boiled eggs

🔥 Tips

  • Use cold, crisp lettuce for the best texture
  • Add dressing just before serving to avoid sogginess
  • For extra flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan

🧄 Traditional Note

Classic Caesar dressing sometimes includes anchovies for a deeper umami flavor—you can mash 1–2 fillets into the dressing if you like.

If you want, I can give you a healthy yogurt Caesar dressing, a no-mayo version, or a restaurant-style garlic Parmesan Caesar 😋
