Banana bread

Here’s a moist, soft, and foolproof banana bread recipe—great for using up ripe bananas:


🍌 Banana Bread (Classic & Easy)

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter (or oil)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven
    Set to 180°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas
    In a bowl, mash bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix wet ingredients
    Add melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Add dry ingredients
    Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix just until combined (don’t overmix).
  5. Bake
    Pour batter into the pan and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool
    Let it cool before slicing for best texture.

  • Chocolate chips
  • Chopped walnuts or almonds
  • Raisins

🔥 Tips:

  • Use very ripe bananas (brown spots = more sweetness & flavor)
  • Don’t overmix—keeps the bread soft
  • Cover with foil if the top browns too quickly
