🍯🍪 Church’s Chicken–Style Honey Butter Biscuits
These biscuits are soft, flaky, slightly sweet, and perfect with honey butter—just like the ones at Church’s Chicken.

- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar

- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 2 tbsp honey
- Pinch of salt
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
- Preheat to 220°C (425°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Make the Biscuit Dough
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add milk gradually, stirring until just combined (do not overmix).
3. Shape and Bake
- Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface.
- Pat to about 1-inch thickness.
- Use a round biscuit cutter or glass to cut biscuits.
- Place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
4. Make Honey Butter
- Mix soft butter, honey, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
5. Serve
- Warm biscuits slightly and spread generously with honey butter.
⭐ Tip:
For extra-fluffy biscuits, don’t twist the cutter when cutting—they rise better if cut straight down.
