Fudge brownies

Posted on March 15, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a rich, fudgy brownie recipe with a soft, gooey center and a slightly crackly top. 🍫

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (115 g) butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional but recommended)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter
Melt butter in a saucepan or microwave. Stir in the sugar while warm.
  3. Add eggs & vanilla
Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla until smooth.
  4. Mix dry ingredients
Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
  5. Add chocolate chips
Fold in chocolate chips for extra fudginess.
  6. Bake
Pour batter into the pan and bake 20–25 minutes. The center should still look slightly soft.
  7. Cool & cut
Let cool before cutting for the best fudgy texture.

💡 Tips for extra fudgy brownies

  • Use dark cocoa powder for deeper chocolate flavor.
  • Slightly underbake them for a gooier center.
  • Add chopped walnuts or pecans for crunch.
