🌮 Walking Taco Casserole
Walking taco casserole is a fun, deconstructed taco dish baked in a casserole dish, inspired by “walking tacos” served in bags at fairs. It layers taco-seasoned meat, cheese, and crunchy chips, making it easy to serve and share without assembling individual tacos.

👨🍳 How to Make Walking Taco Casserole
- Preheat oven
- Set to 175°C / 350°F.
- Cook the meat
- Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and salsa. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Layer the casserole
- In a greased baking dish, layer:
- Half of crushed tortilla chips
- All cooked taco meat
- Remaining crushed chips
- Shredded cheese on top

- Bake 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Add toppings
- After baking, add lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, jalapeños, or olives as desired.
