Pot Pie 🥧🍗
Pot pie is a classic comfort food featuring a flaky pastry crust filled with meat, vegetables, and creamy sauce. Chicken is most common, but beef or turkey works too.

- 1 cup peas
- ½ cup corn (optional)

- 1 ½ cups chicken broth
- ½ cup milk
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- ½ tsp dried thyme
For the Crust
- 1 package pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Set oven to 425°F (220°C). - Cook vegetables
In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and carrots until slightly tender. - Make the sauce

Serving Ideas 🍽️
- Serve with a simple green salad 🥗
- Pair with mashed potatoes for extra comfort
- Add a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top
💡 Tip: For a quicker version, you can use pre-cooked frozen mixed vegetables and rotisserie chicken.
I can also provide a crockpot version of pot pie where you assemble it in the slow cooker and top with biscuits instead of a pie crust. Do you want that version?
