This slow-cooker casserole is a comforting dish made with tender pierogi, smoky kielbasa sausage, and a creamy cheese sauce. It’s easy to prepare and perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen pierogi (about 16 oz)
  • 12–14 oz kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Β½ cup sour cream
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to crockpot
    Place frozen pierogi in the slow cooker. Add sliced kielbasa and diced onion.
  2. Add cheese and broth
    Sprinkle cheddar cheese and add the cubed cream cheese. Pour in chicken broth.
  3. Season
    Add garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Cook
    Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
  5. Finish the dish
    Stir in sour cream during the last 20–30 minutes of cooking until creamy and well mixed.
