Fettuccine Alfredo 🍝

Ingredients
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
- Cook the pasta
Boil fettuccine in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside. - Make the sauce
In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute. - Add cream
Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes. - Add cheese
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and thick. - Combine pasta and sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the pan and toss until the pasta is well coated. - Season and serve
Add salt, black pepper, and garnish with parsley.
