Posted on March 13, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a guide for both Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies and Turtle Candy, two indulgent, chocolatey treats.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies (makes ~24 cookies)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: Cream butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. Add dry ingredients: Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Shape cookies: Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake: 10–12 minutes until edges are set.
  6. Cool: Let cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

💡 Tip: Press the tops lightly with a fork for a classic peanut butter cookie look.

Turtle Candy (makes ~30 pieces)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 24 soft caramel candies (or 1 cup caramel bits)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped or chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if roasting pecans.
  2. Toast pecans (optional): Spread on a baking sheet and toast 5–7 minutes for extra flavor.
  3. Arrange candies: Place 3–4 pecan halves in clusters on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Top with caramel: Unwrap caramel candies and place one on each pecan cluster. Drizzle with 1/2 teaspoon cream.
  5. Melt chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Add chocolate: Spoon melted chocolate over each caramel-pecan cluster.
  7. Cool: Refrigerate until chocolate and caramel set (~30 minutes).

💡 Tips:

  • For easier melting, use microwave-safe chocolate and stir frequently.
  • You can sprinkle sea salt over the turtles before the chocolate sets for a sweet-salty flavor.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.

If you want, I can also give you a combined Chocolate Peanut Butter Turtle Cookie recipe, which merges both into one decadent cookie with caramel, pecans, chocolate, and peanut butter. 🍫🥜🐢
