Here’s a comforting Crock Pot Beef & Noodles recipe—tender beef, flavorful gravy, and soft egg noodles, all made in one slow cooker.


Ingredients (serves 4–6)

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the beef:

  • Place beef, onion, and garlic in the crockpot.
  • Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Pour beef broth over the top.

2. Cook:

  • Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or high for 4–5 hours until beef is tender.

3. Add noodles:

  • About 30 minutes before serving, add egg noodles to the crockpot.
  • Stir gently and cover, cooking until noodles are tender.

4. Optional thickening:

  • If you want a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and stir into the crockpot.
  • Cook another 5–10 minutes until sauce thickens.

5. Serve:

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

💡 Tips:

  • Cut beef into even pieces so it cooks uniformly.
  • You can add carrots or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • This dish reheats well and tastes even better the next day as the flavors meld.
