🍔 Sloppy Joe Sliders

Mini sandwiches packed with a tangy, savory meat filling—perfect for parties, game day, or a fun family meal. 🥪


🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or turkey
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns or small dinner rolls
  • Optional: pickles, cheese slices, or coleslaw for topping

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the meat

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground meat until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat.

2️⃣ Add vegetables

Add chopped onion (and bell pepper if using) and cook 3–4 minutes until softened.

3️⃣ Make the sauce

Stir in ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Simmer 5–10 minutes until thickened.

4️⃣ Assemble sliders

  1. Split slider buns and lightly toast if desired.
  2. Spoon meat mixture onto each bun.
  3. Add optional toppings like cheese, pickles, or coleslaw.

5️⃣ Serve

Serve warm as a snack or meal.
