🥓 Perfectly Cooked Bacon

Bacon is crispy, savory, and incredibly versatile—perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, salads, or as a topping.


🧾 Ingredients

  • Slices of bacon (thick-cut or regular)

Optional for extra flavor:

  • Black pepper
  • Brown sugar (for sweet glazed bacon)
  • Maple syrup

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Stovetop (Classic)

  1. Place bacon slices in a cold skillet, single layer.
  2. Turn the heat to medium. Cook, turning occasionally, 6–10 minutes until crispy.
  3. Drain on paper towels before serving.

2️⃣ Oven (Even Crispier)

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  3. Lay bacon slices on the rack.
  4. Bake 15–20 minutes, checking for desired crispiness.
  5. Drain on paper towels.

3️⃣ Microwave (Quick)

  1. Place bacon between paper towels on a microwave-safe plate.
  2. Microwave 4–6 minutes, depending on thickness and desired crispiness.
