Strawberry brownies

Here’s a delicious Strawberry Brownies recipe — fudgy, chocolaty, and swirled with sweet strawberry flavor 🍓🍫.


Ingredients (makes 9–12 brownies)

For the brownie batter:

  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (60 g) all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup (35 g) cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

For the strawberry swirl:

  • ½ cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1–2 tbsp sugar (optional, depending on sweetness of berries)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

1. Preheat oven

  • Preheat to 175°C (350°F).
  • Grease a 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan or line with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the strawberry puree

  • Blend strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Set aside.

3. Make the brownie batter

  1. In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until smooth.
  3. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold until just combined.

4. Assemble

  1. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of strawberry puree over the top.
  3. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the strawberries into the batter.

5. Bake

  • Bake 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean (a few fudgy crumbs are okay).

6. Cool and serve

  • Let brownies cool completely before slicing.
  • Optional: top with powdered sugar, chocolate drizzle, or extra fresh strawberries.

💡 Tips

  • For extra strawberry flavor, fold in chopped strawberries into the batter as well.
  • To make it richer, add ½ cup chocolate chips to the batter.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2–3 days, or in the fridge for up to a week.
