Fried fish

Fried fish is a simple and delicious dish where fish is seasoned, coated, and fried until crispy outside and tender inside. 🐟🍋

Ingredients

  • 500 g fish fillets (any white fish)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ cup flour or cornflour
  • Oil for frying

Cooking Method

  1. Season the fish
    • Mix salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic paste, and lemon juice.
    • Rub this mixture on the fish and let it marinate for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Coat the fish
    • Lightly coat the fish with flour or cornflour for a crispy texture.
  3. Heat the oil
    • Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat.
  4. Fry the fish
    • Fry each piece for about 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Serve
    • Serve hot with lemon slices, salad, and sauce.

✅ Tip: Adding a little cornflour + rice flour makes the fish extra crispy.
