Beef and broccoli noodles

Posted on March 7, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a quick and tasty Beef and Broccoli Noodles recipe—savory, tender beef with crisp broccoli and noodles in a flavorful sauce. 🥩🥦🍜

Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (egg noodles, ramen, or rice noodles)
  • 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional garnish: sesame seeds, green onions

Instructions

1. Cook the noodles

  1. Boil noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss with a drizzle of sesame oil to prevent sticking.

2. Cook the beef

  1. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced beef and sear until browned (2–3 minutes). Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the broccoli

  1. In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp oil.
  2. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
  3. Add broccoli and stir-fry 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.

4. Make the sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch slurry.

5. Combine everything

  1. Return beef to the skillet.
  2. Pour sauce over beef and broccoli. Stir well until sauce thickens.
  3. Add cooked noodles and toss to coat evenly.

6. Serve

  • Garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions.
  • Serve hot as a complete meal.

💡 Tips

  • For extra flavor, marinate beef in 1 tsp soy sauce + 1 tsp cornstarch + ½ tsp sesame oil for 15–20 minutes before cooking.
  • Substitute broccoli with bok choy or snap peas for variety.
  • Add a splash of chili garlic sauce if you like a spicy kick. 🌶️

If you want, I can also make a one-pan version where noodles cook directly in the sauce with the beef and broccoli, cutting prep and cleanup in half.

Do you want me to do that?
