Here’s a simple homemade Pepperoni Pizza recipe with a crispy crust, melty cheese, and classic pepperoni flavor. 🍕


Ingredients

For the dough

  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt

For the toppings

  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20–30 slices pepperoni
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

1. Make the dough

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  3. Add flour, olive oil, and salt.
  4. Mix and knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes until doubled.

2. Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a pizza stone or baking tray inside to heat.

3. Shape the pizza

Roll or stretch the dough into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface.

4. Add toppings

  • Spread pizza sauce evenly.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
  • Arrange pepperoni slices on top.
  • Sprinkle oregano and garlic powder.

5. Bake

Transfer pizza to the hot tray/stone and bake 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

6. Serve

Brush crust edges lightly with olive oil, slice, and serve hot.


💡 Tips

  • Add mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers for extra toppings.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle parmesan cheese on the crust after baking.
  • If you like spicy pizza, add red chili flakes. 🌶️
