🍲 Slow Cooker Shredded Beef

Ingredients

  • 3–4 lb beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slow cooker: Place sliced onion and garlic on the bottom.
  2. Season the beef: Rub the roast with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  3. Add to slow cooker: Put the beef on top of the onions.
  4. Add liquid: Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the meat.
  5. Cook:
    • Low: 8–9 hours
    • High: 4–5 hours
  6. Shred the beef: Remove the roast and shred it with two forks. Return it to the slow cooker and mix with the juices.
