🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Optional: 2 cloves garlic, minced
🔥 Instructions (Skillet Method)
1️⃣ Season the pork chops
- Pat chops dry with paper towels.
- Rub both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and herbs.
2️⃣ Heat pan
- Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3️⃣ Cook pork chops
- Add pork chops to the pan.
- Cook 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown.
4️⃣ Check doneness
- Internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
5️⃣ Rest
- Let pork chops rest 5 minutes before serving so juices stay inside.
🌿 Optional Pan Sauce
After removing pork chops:
- Add ½ cup chicken broth
- Add 1 tbsp butter
- Simmer 2–3 minutes and pour over pork chops.
