Posted on January 16, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a Creamy Fried Bombs recipe—crispy on the outside, melty and creamy on the inside. 🔥🧀
These are perfect as an appetizer, party snack, or comfort food treat.

Creamy Fried Bombs

Ingredients

Filling

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional add-ins: cooked bacon bits, jalapeños, spinach, or crab

Coating

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1½ cups seasoned breadcrumbs or panko

For Frying

  • Vegetable or canola oil (for deep frying)

Instructions

1. Make the Filling

  1. Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, Parmesan, seasonings, and any add-ins.
  2. Chill mixture 20–30 minutes until firm enough to roll.

2. Form the Bombs

  1. Scoop about 1½ tablespoons of filling.
  2. Roll into balls and place on a tray.
  3. Freeze 15 minutes (helps prevent leaking).

3. Bread the Bombs

  1. Roll balls in flour.
  2. Dip in beaten eggs.
  3. Coat thoroughly in breadcrumbs.
  4. For extra crunch, repeat egg + breadcrumb step.

4. Fry

  1. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fry in small batches 2–3 minutes, turning until golden brown.
  3. Drain on paper towels.

Serving Ideas

  • Marinara sauce
  • Ranch or garlic aioli
  • Sweet chili sauce
  • Honey drizzle (surprisingly good!)

Tips for Success

  • Cold filling = no leaks
  • Don’t overcrowd oil
  • If oil is too hot, they’ll brown before melting inside

Flavor Variations

  • Buffalo bombs: Add buffalo sauce + blue cheese
  • Spinach artichoke bombs
  • Pizza bombs: Add pepperoni and mozzarella
  • Seafood bombs: Crab + Old Bay seasoning

If you want a baked, air-fryer, or dessert-style creamy bomb version, tell me which one and I’ll make it 😊
