🥗 Crawfish Cucumber Salad

A light, refreshing salad featuring tender crawfish tails, crisp cucumbers, and a tangy, creamy dressing — perfect for summer or as a seafood side dish.

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 cup cooked crawfish tails (fresh or thawed from frozen)
  • 1 large cucumber, thinly sliced or diced
  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1–2 tsp lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika or Cajun seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or chives

🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep vegetables and crawfish

  • Peel and slice cucumber thinly, or dice for a chunkier salad.
  • Slice red onion thinly.
  • Drain crawfish tails if necessary.

2️⃣ Make dressing

  • In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon or lime juice, mustard (if using), smoked paprika or Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

3️⃣ Combine ingredients

  • In a large bowl, gently toss cucumbers, red onion, and crawfish with the dressing until evenly coated.

4️⃣ Chill & serve

  • Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley or chives before serving.

🌿 Tips & Variations

  • Add diced celery or bell peppers for extra crunch.
  • Substitute Greek yogurt for some or all of the mayonnaise for a lighter version.
