🥩 Ground Beef (Versatile & Quick)

Ground beef is a kitchen staple — perfect for tacos, pasta, casseroles, burgers, or skillet meals. Cooking it correctly keeps it flavorful and juicy.

🛒 Ingredients (for 1 lb / 450 g)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20 recommended for best flavor)
  • 1 small onion, diced (optional)
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Optional: paprika, chili powder, Italian seasoning, or soy sauce depending on the recipe

🔥 Stovetop Method

1️⃣ Preheat skillet

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2️⃣ Cook aromatics (optional)

  • Sauté onion 2–3 minutes until soft.
  • Add garlic for 30 seconds.

3️⃣ Brown the beef

  • Add ground beef.
  • Break apart with a spatula or wooden spoon.
  • Cook 6–8 minutes until fully browned and no pink remains.

4️⃣ Drain fat

  • Remove excess grease if necessary.

5️⃣ Season

  • Add salt, pepper, and any optional spices.

🌿 Tips

  • Use 80/20 beef for best flavor; leaner beef may dry out.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan — cook in batches if necessary.
  • Perfect for tacos, spaghetti sauce, sloppy joes, casseroles, or stir-fries.
  • Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce for extra umami.

I can also give you:

  • Taco-seasoned ground beef
  • Italian-style ground beef for pasta or lasagna
  • Quick skillet beef with vegetables
