🍗 Buffalo Wings (Classic Spicy & Tangy)

Crispy chicken wings coated in a tangy, spicy sauce — perfect for game day, parties, or a flavorful snack.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 lbs (900 g) chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper
  • ½ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Optional: celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch dressing for serving

🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep wings

  • Pat wings dry with paper towels.
  • Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.

2️⃣ Cook wings

Oven Method (Crispy)

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with foil and a wire rack.
  • Arrange wings in a single layer.
  • Bake 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden.

Air Fryer Method

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cook wings 20–25 minutes, shaking halfway, until crispy.

Frying Method

  • Heat 1–2 inches of oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry wings 8–10 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  • Drain on paper towels.

3️⃣ Make Buffalo sauce

  • Mix hot sauce with melted butter in a bowl.

4️⃣ Toss wings in sauce

  • Place cooked wings in a large bowl.
  • Pour sauce over wings and toss until evenly coated.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Serve hot with celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch dressing.

🌿 Tips & Variations

  • Adjust heat by adding more or less hot sauce.
  • For extra flavor, marinate wings in hot sauce and garlic powder 1–2 hours before cooking.
  • Try tossing in honey or brown sugar for a sweet-spicy twist.
  • Oven wings can be broiled 1–2 minutes at the end for extra crispiness.
