🥩 Ground Beef (Quick & Versatile)

Ground beef is a staple ingredient — perfect for tacos, pasta, casseroles, or skillet meals. Cooking it properly keeps it flavorful and juicy.


🛒 Ingredients (For 1 lb / 450 g of ground beef)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
  • 1 small onion, diced (optional)
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Optional: paprika, chili powder, Italian seasoning, or soy sauce depending on the recipe

🔥 Stovetop Method

1️⃣ Preheat pan

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

2️⃣ Cook aromatics (optional)

  • Sauté onion 2–3 minutes until soft.
  • Add garlic for 30 seconds.

3️⃣ Brown the beef

  • Add ground beef.
  • Break apart with a spatula.
  • Cook 6–8 minutes until fully browned and no pink remains.

4️⃣ Drain fat

  • Remove excess grease if necessary.

5️⃣ Season

  • Add salt, pepper, and optional spices.

  • Use 80/20 beef for flavor; leaner beef can be dry.
