🍗 BBQ Chicken Foil Packets (Easy & Flavorful)

Juicy chicken with veggies and barbecue sauce, all cooked in foil — perfect for the oven, grill, or campfire.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, corn)
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder
  • Optional: fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat

  • Oven: 400°F (200°C)
  • Grill: medium heat

2️⃣ Prepare foil

  • Tear 4 large sheets of aluminum foil (about 12×12 inches).
  • Lightly oil each sheet.

3️⃣ Assemble packets

  • Place 1 chicken breast in center of each foil sheet.
  • Top with vegetables.
  • Drizzle BBQ sauce and olive oil over everything.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.

4️⃣ Seal packets

  • Fold foil over chicken and veggies; crimp edges to seal tightly.

5️⃣ Cook

  • Oven: 25–30 minutes
  • Grill: 20–25 minutes
  • Check internal temperature of chicken: 165°F (74°C)

6️⃣ Serve

  • Carefully open foil (steam will be hot).
  • Optional: garnish with fresh herbs.
