🥦🍗 Chicken & Vegetable Stir-Fry (Fast & Flavorful)

A quick weeknight meal ready in about 20 minutes.

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

Protein & Veggies

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast (thinly sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas or green beans
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (optional)
  • 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame blend)

Sauce

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but great flavor)
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • ¼ cup chicken broth or water

🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep sauce
Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, cornstarch, and broth. Set aside.

2️⃣ Cook chicken
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Cook chicken 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Remove and set aside.

3️⃣ Stir-fry vegetables
Add remaining oil.
Cook garlic and ginger 30 seconds.
Add vegetables and stir-fry 3–5 minutes (tender-crisp is best).

4️⃣ Combine & sauce
Return chicken to pan.
Pour in sauce and cook 1–2 minutes until thickened and glossy.

5️⃣ Serve
Serve hot over rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

🌿 Tips for Best Stir-Fry

  • Slice chicken thinly against the grain for tenderness.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan — cook in batches if needed.
  • Keep veggies slightly crisp for best texture.
  • Add a splash of sesame oil at the end for extra flavor.

If you’d like, I can give you:

  • A spicy Szechuan-style version
  • A low-carb version (no cornstarch)
  • Or a garlic butter version

What kind of flavor profile do you want? 🍜
