🥗 Chicken Salad Dressing (Classic & Variations)

Here’s a creamy, balanced dressing that works for traditional chicken salad — plus a few easy twists.

🥄 Classic Creamy Dressing

Ingredients (for ~3 cups shredded chicken):

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1–2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 1–2 tbsp finely minced celery or onion (optional)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Whisk everything together until smooth.
  2. Fold into cooked, cooled shredded or diced chicken.
  3. Chill 30–60 minutes for best flavor.

💡 Adjust thickness with a splash of milk or more lemon juice.

🥑 Healthier Greek Yogurt Version

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt & pepper

Creamy but lighter and higher in protein.

🍯 Sweet & Tangy Version (Great with Grapes)

  • ½ cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Pinch of salt

Perfect if adding grapes, dried cranberries, or apples.

🌿 Herb-Forward Version

  • ½ cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (or parsley)
  • 1 tsp Dijon
  • Salt & pepper

Great for croissants or lettuce wraps.

If you tell me how you’re serving it (sandwiches, wraps, over greens, meal prep), I can tailor the dressing for that specifically.
