Instructions
Oven-Roasted Version
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
- Season turkey wings with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a large ovenproof pan or Dutch oven over medium heat. Brown wings 4–5 minutes per side. Remove wings.
- Sauté onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until softened.
- Add stock, wine (if using), thyme, and bay leaf. Return wings to the pan.
- Cover with foil or a lid and bake 1.5–2 hours, basting occasionally, until wings are tender and meat pulls easily from the bone.
Stovetop / Braised Version
- Brown wings in a large pot with oil.
