π Spaghetti & Mince (Easy, Flavor-Packed)
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground mince (beef, turkey, or a mix)
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
(or tomato sauce if you like it smoother) - 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Β½ tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of sugar, chili flakes
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in well-salted water until al dente. Reserve Β½ cup pasta water.
- Brown the mince
Heat oil in a pan. Add mince and cook until browned. Season lightly with salt and pepper. - Build flavor
Add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic for 30 seconds. - Sauce time
Add tomato paste, oregano, basil, paprika. Stir 1 minute.
Pour in crushed tomatoes. Simmer 20β30 minutes on low. - Finish
Add a pinch of sugar if needed. Toss in spaghetti with a splash of pasta water to loosen. - Serve
Top with grated cheese and black pepper.
