Cheesy Bacon Fries

Posted on January 30, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a loaded Cheesy Bacon Fries recipe—crispy, gooey, and utterly addictive 🍟🧀🥓

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 4 cups frozen French fries (or homemade fries)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheese blend)
  • 4–6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2–3 green onions, sliced (optional)
  • Sour cream or ranch for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Fries
    • Bake fries according to package instructions or fry until golden and crispy.
    • If making homemade fries: toss potato sticks with olive oil, salt, and pepper; bake at 425°F (220°C) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
  2. Assemble the Loaded Fries
    • Place cooked fries on a baking sheet or oven-safe dish.
    • Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the fries.
    • Add crumbled bacon on top.
  3. Melt the Cheese
    • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Garnish & Serve
    • Sprinkle sliced green onions on top.
    • Serve hot with sour cream or ranch for dipping.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra cheesy: Mix cheddar with mozzarella for gooeyness.
  • Spicy twist: Add jalapeño slices or a drizzle of hot sauce.
  • BBQ flavor: Toss fries in BBQ sauce before adding cheese and bacon.
  • Crispier bacon: Cook bacon in the oven separately to ensure it stays crunchy.

If you want, I can also give a one-pan stovetop version that’s faster and super melty—perfect for game nights.

Do you want me to provide that version?
