Chicken breast

Posted on January 30, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a versatile chicken breast recipe—juicy, flavorful, and easy to adapt 🍗

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    • Pat chicken breasts dry.
    • Season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook on Stovetop (Sautéed/Seared)
    • Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Cook chicken 5–7 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
    • Optional: Add a few sprigs of herbs and 1 clove crushed garlic to the pan for extra flavor.
  3. Rest & Serve
    • Let chicken rest 5 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.
    • Serve with vegetables, rice, pasta, or in sandwiches/salads.

Tips & Variations

  • Oven-baked: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Sear chicken 2–3 minutes per side in an oven-safe pan, then bake 15–20 minutes until cooked through.
  • Stuffed: Slice pocket in breast and stuff with cheese, spinach, or mushrooms before cooking.
  • Marinated: Marinate in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs for 30 minutes to enhance flavor.
  • Creamy option: After cooking, make a quick pan sauce with chicken broth, cream, and mustard.

If you want, I can give a quick 20-minute skillet garlic butter chicken breast recipe that’s juicy and perfect for weeknight dinners.

Do you want me to provide that version?
